There will come a day
When all the parties
will get old for you,
When no amount of alcohol
will cleanse you,
And no other substance used
will soothe you,
Or so you think.
And you will look at
the real things
in your life:
The laundry, your
tiredness, your small joys,
your unhesitating tears,
And you will see
how worthy
your journey was.
